I know it is cliche to say “where has the time gone ” but I said it, because summer is over, so is Thanksgiving. This means Georgian Quilters is having its second meeting of the season this Thursday Oct. 21.
At our September gathering, we celebrated the beginning of our 15th year as a Guild. We consumed an excellent cake, (Thanks, Diane.) caught up with friends, got a glimpse of the Program Committee’s plans, got a nudge to complete the BTW challenge and bring it to the Oct. meeting. This is also the time to bring our BTW Boutique contributions.
Our Lovely Leader Linda, ( I adore alliterations) has issued a Challenge, commencing after the BEYOND THE WALL challenge hand in. The challenge is to complete a UFO. A challenge most of us need. Is there a quilter out there that doesn’t have a UFO? I want to meet you. I have more then one…more then two, great scott even more then two! Choose one and giterdone.
Our Quilt show is quickly becoming a reality. Publicity is well underway and it is now time for all members to start the chatter in earnest. Talk to your friends about it perhaps invite and take them after all it is FREE. Drop in a word about our Quilt show any chance you get…..
