October 2011

October’s Meeting  was about making Scrappy quilts.  Barb A. and Lois showed us a trunk load of scrappy quilts, old and new,  flimsy and finished.

Then at Quilt Time  in Nov. this theme was continued.

This  pineapple block was demonstrated by Jo T. at October’s Quilt Time, this quilt nowresides in the Community Quilts awaiting a label…labels required on the selection of Community Quilts hanging on the line.  Let us know if you can help, we have the labels.

Included with the Scrappy Quilt presentation, where a number of resources for patterns and ideas on the net.  Recommended by various guild members are the ones listed here.
